2x World Champion Aparecido “Bill” Faria comes home to Gracie Barra Brazilian Jiu JItsu Jacksonville!

A great day of training and fun at Gracie Barra Jiu Jitsu. 2x World Champion and 5x Brazilian Nation Champion Aparecido “Bill” Faria gave us a 3 hour seminar full of knowledge and great techniques. To top it off Prof. Roberto after years of training was awarded his Black Belt. After hard training it was time for great food, a bouncy house for the kids and family Gracie Barra style!

Gracie Barra Students Compete and win as a Team…..

October 1st 2011 the BJJ Grand Prix was held here in Jacksonville, Fl and Gracie Barra South Jax represented itself very well. Competition is never a requirement, but for some at GBSJAX it is a calling to test their skills against the best in the Eastern region. It was a day of fun and wins, wins, wins…24 wins total and 11 by submission!

Kids Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Back by popular demand, kids BJJ summer camp! Ages 5-14 all skill levels welcome. July 25th – 29th noon-5pm. We had such a great camp early in the summer that we are having another exciting week of BJJ, Zumba, Cardio Jitsu, Games, Arts and crafts and much more! Cost is $175 per child.
